Still life, Gertrud Wråke-Lindquist
Gertrud Wråke-Lindquist (b. 1905, d. 1996) was a Swedish painter and draftsman. She studied at the Skåne School of Painting, at Otte Sköld's School of Painting in Paris, at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière and at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, as well as through self-study during trips to Italy and England.
Her art is inspired by French impressionism and consists of portraits, human studies, landscape depictions done in oil or gouache, and drawings. She was known for her sure sense of color and for her genre portraits of dancers and young women.
The Malmö University Art Association organized an exhibition of her work in 2006.
